Green Windows and Green Thumbs

 Source: Garden Seasons

So I'm not going to lie to you guys… I cannot keep a plant alive to save my life.  This is where faux plants come to my rescue.  But if you are not a fan of faux plants either, a great way to get some green into your space is by highlighting windows that offer views of greenery. For example, install floor-to-ceiling curtains that sit just outside the window edge to maximize the size of your window. Now your window becomes wall art of trees and plants! Remember, there is such a great selection of realistic-looking plants these days.  But if you are fortunate to have that magical green thumb, real plants are the way to go! So whether you accentuate your window views or you find that real dripping succulent down the side of a ceramic pitcher or a bundle of silk roses in a contemporary square glass vase;  plants and flowers add that needed breath of fresh air to any home decor.
