When Less Really Is More

    Sometimes all you need is a good decluttering session. I found myself doing a lot of purging during COVID, and realized I liked the minimal lifestyle. That created the perfect opportunity for a design refresh. Less is more when you are trying to highlight architectural features. This photo really shows off the slatted wall feature and the beautiful curved sofa. The pops of color are needed to add depth and interest to an otherwise colorless room. Notice the textures from the soft plush rug, tactile boucle sofa fabric, and vertical wood wall. All these elements are highlighted in this minimalist design.
